Live Music Sculpture
Live Music Sculpture was born in 2022 thanks to the collaboration with the artists Gabriela Morawetz during BIWAKO Biennale in Japan. The core of the performance is the musical translation of the video art installation that has a form of improvisation. Musicians treat the space they are surrounded by and the art in which presence they play, as equal partners in expressing different textures and artistic meanings. Thanks to that, the piece of art becomes music, and the musicians become the living sculpture.

The Presence - Live Music Sculpture by Anna Kuk
The solo improvisation performance spontaneously arranged by the organisers of the Biwako Biennale. The aim of the performance was to become a living sculpture, improvising music based on the sensation of the presence of passing spectators. Every sound and melody was inspired by the meeting at a given moment with strangers visiting the exhibitions during the Biennale.
